-What is AsaaseGPS?

AsaaseGPS is a global coding system, which divides Ghana into grids of squares of 5 by 5 meters and assigns to each a single, known address as a digital address. With this system, each land and property gets a permanent address.

- Do I have to pay to download the AsaaseGPS application?

No payment is required to download or use the AsaaeGPS application.

-How can I access the AsaaseGPS application?

Use AsaaseGPS on your computer, phone or tablet to search, explore and find your way in Ghana. On your computer, open www.AsaaseGPS.com, on your phone or tablet, use the AsaaseGPS application.

Here is a guide to start using the AsaaseGPS application.

Visit your App Store to download the AsaaseGPS application for free from the Google Play Store for Android and Apple Store users for iOS users.
Once the application is installed, follow the instructions to register, verify and confirm your login information.
After this process, you are ready to use the AsaaseGPS application.

How do I use the application to generate my unique address?

Once you have downloaded the application on your phone, generating your address is easy.

Make sure the location button on your phone is turned on.
Open the AsaaseGPS application and click on the button
Your unique address will appear next to the digital address, for example, Digital address: GA-543-0125

Does precision matter when generating the address?

Yes, the accuracy of your address is important. Just below the address code, the accuracy of the address is displayed. Always try to have the address within a precision of 3 meters. It is recommended that you stand in front of your property to produce the most accurate address.

If your address appears in;

Green font, for example Digital address: GA-543-0125 this indicates that you are within 3m - 9m precision
Yellow font, for example Digital address: GA-543-0125 This indicates that you are within 10m - 20m precision
Red font, for example Digital address: GA-543-0125 This indicates that you are above 20m precision

NB: The most accurate results should be displayed in GREEN font.

What does my address mean? (eg. CK-0001-8859 )?

The first two alphabets represent the region and the district. The 4 digits that come after the first two alphabets are the postal code The last 4 digits represent the unique property address
For example:

C represents Central Region
K represents Komenda District
0001 represents the Area code
8859 is the address of the unique property

Does this mean that the names of the streets will no longer be useful?

No, the name of your street will be displayed below your digital address, including your district, zip code and region, which will make it easier for people to locate you even without the mapa.

How can a third party locate my property with my digital address?

With the application on your phone and the digital address code of the people,
Enter the digital address in the search column and click on the Search button
All the details of the address will be generated.
Click on the Route option below to navigate to the location of your specified address

How can I save a digital address in the application, for reference?

Enter the digital address and click on the search button

All the details of the address will be generated.

Click on the save location button that automatically saves the address in your address book to refer to the location.

Go to the address book to find your saved addresses

How can I find reference points in AsaaseGPS?

The search for the direction of the reference points is possible,

Enter the name of the milestone in the search tab
A drop-down menu will appear with options to choose from
Select the desired reference point.

The address will be generated automatically

If I change my place of residence, will I use my previous address or generate a new one?

Your new location has been automatically assigned a unique digital address even before you move there. You only need to access the application to generate the address of your current location, which becomes your new address.

Is there an offline version of the application?

Currently there is no offline version, however, updates will be made continuously to improve the application.

How do I contact emergency services using the application?

Click on the emergency button
Select the service you need, that is, the Police Service, the Fire Service or the Ambulance Service.
Enter additional information and click on the "Send location" button.
A pop-up message will ask you to close or continue with the request.

How do I verify my address?

Click on the menu button
A menu will appear with the "Verify your address" button
Click on the button to verify your address
